This is a group medical appointment consisting of 12-15 patients (see Group Medical Appointments) focused on empowering each individual to create lifestyle changes that will help achieve your ideal body weight. This group is geared towards those with chronic weight issues, who also have diabetes, heart disease, arthritis, hypertension, or any other medical condition affected by obesity.
The group consists of 4 weekly visits, starting the first Monday of each month. Group appointments will be led by Dr. Judge and/or Dr. Barish-Wreden, and will also be guided by a behaviorist. Topics addressed will include: diet and nutrition, stress and obesity, an overview of various diets, exercise, and behavior modification. Reservations are required.
